The rulings of the US Supreme Court do not make sens, or do they?

US supreme court rules against EPA and hobbles government power to limit harmful emissions

US supreme court overturns New York handgun law in bitter blow to gun-control push

US supreme court overturns abortion rights, upending Roe v Wade

The discourse about the US Supreme Court rulings is complex and has legal rationale and justifications.

True, but keeping it simple:

They ruled against restricting harmful emissions that all agree harm babies and children's health; in parallel they rule against abortion to protect unborn fetus rights. Does this make sense to you?

They ruled against restricting guns that are killing school children, in parallel they rule against abortion to protect unborn fetus rights. Does this make sense to you?

Yes, it makes sense. The rulings fall in line with the ideology of the extreme right and Trump.

The rulings are divided along the lines of Judges appointed by Democrats and judges appointed by Republicans. Clearly, it is no more an issue of law and objective review of laws, it is directly linked to ideology.

The composition of the court is a perfect exemple of minority rule. The ideology it represents is not a matter of consensus inside the American society. Is it a failure of democracy or a failure of liberals and the left, a failure of Democrats?

It is definitely a win for a coalition of religious right with white supremacy movements, their tools are a smart utilisation of social media, Fox news, charismatic politicians, voter apathy, and a broken liberal alliance.
